It's that time of the week again where you and I can make something really cool. This week our project is a pin cushion to add to your sewing supplies.
Supplies needed:
Two 7" X 7" Squares of fabric
Stuffing
Coordinating thread
Needle
Ribbon (optional)
Button (optional)
Directions:
1. Place fabric pattern side together and pin together so it won't move. I place it even with the sewing foot to give a seam allowance.
2. Sew all the way around and stop a inch or two away from where you started and cut the thread.
4. Through the same whole stuff your stuffing in till the pin cushion is firm. Stitch the whole closed.
Optional:

Step 6 |
5. Thread a needle with the coordinating thread and find the about center of the cushion and thread the needle through to the other side.
6. With the ribbon thread the needle through. Thread the needle back through the ribbon and the cushion and though the same length of ribbon. Pull needle back through the ribbon, cushion and the final part of the ribbon; cut the ribbon to that length.
7-8. Repeat this process with the ribbon going the opposite direction.
9. Sew a button in the center on both sides of the cushion.
That is it! Now you should have a great looking pin cushion that to me looks like a mini ring bearer pillow.
Tag/follow me on Instagram if you make this I would LOVE to see your pin cushions as well as anything else from the blog. Also if you like this or any other of my posts comment below. Don't be afraid to share your opinions on this blog. That's all for now. :)
