Throwback Thursday- Lino Turns The Big 2-0!

20 years ago at 9:45 AM today my boyfriend took his very first breath! 

This was taken at his first birthday!

It's so hard to believe that we are both 20. It still feels like sometimes we are still in high school not caring about life.  We have been through 3 birthdays together and I hope we spend many more together. 

He was born in Austin, Texas lived in Mexico for a few years. Then moved back to the Buda/Austin area. At one point he was living in a house with more or less 25 people. He is the oldest among 4 children. He has a black belt in Karate.

This was taken by PKC Karate. He's on a 20-30 foot cliff.

We both went to the same Elementary school (Tom Green), the same middle school (Barton), and of course the same high school (Jack C. Hays). This amazing guy is my best friend and my world.

Random Friday- Random Facts

Hi everybody! I thought I would do a kind of get-to-know-me post. I will give yall 20 random fact about me.

My tattoo about an hour after I got it.

1. My full name is Marguerita Victoria Hernandez. Marguerita is pronounced margarita like the drink LOL.

2. About two days after I turned 18 I got a tattoo on my wrist it says 'Amor' which means love in Spanish.

3. I am half Mexican.

4. I know like 30 words in Spanish.

5. I was in band in middle school and played the flute.

6. I was in choir in middle and high school.

7. In high school I was in Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps for all four years.

8. I broke my arm just below my shoulder when I was 12

9. I was a cheerleader in middle school.

10. I wanted to join the US Army but I hurt my back when I was 17 bad enough that I wouldn't be able to join. :/

11. In high school I took a Veterinary Assistant class but didn't have the money to take the test to make it official. 

12. I have 2 half sisters and 1 full brother

13. I have never played in real snow. In central Texas the "snow" we have is not the same as snow in like Colorado or places like that.

14. My first solid food as a baby was watermelon and it's now one of my favorite foods.

15. In 1998 I almost lost my house due to a flood in central Texas. I also missed like a week of school because we couldn't get out of the property.

16. I can shoot a gun but I am the WORST shot ever!

17. The first car I drove legally was a standard 1998 Ford Ranger that later caught on fire on my way to school my junior year...NOT a fun day :(

18. My favorite Disney movie is currently Tangled. That's right I'm 20 and love Tangled!

19. I am 4 months and 3 weeks older then my boyfriend.

20. It took me just two weeks to fall in love with my amazing boyfriend.

Throwback Thursday- Love Not At First Sight

This is one of my favorite pictures of my boyfriend and I. This was taken by Lino on October 15, 2011. Lino and I at this time had known each other for four years, and if you can't tell by the title it was NOT love at first sight for him and I lol. We were close friends for years and on this particular date was our senior picture day.

We had already planned to go together and when I went to get him at his house I remember the first thing that came out of his mouth. He said  "Wow, you look beautiful.". This was a bit of a changing moment for us as friends. The entire time that day we flirted with each other. We both could tell that there were feelings being developed.

This picture was taken after we got our pictures taken and he invited me to play some video games.  It was a wonderful afternoon of laughing and frustration because I SUCK at video games LOL! After about a week of back and forth flirting, Lino and I started dating on October 25, 2011. We have been together ever since, which has been two years and seven months.

We are indeed high school sweethearts and I love him with all my heart. I wouldn't trade what we have for anything in the world! <3. That's all for now. I hope you enjoyed my first Throwback Thursday!
